# Creating / loading a new setup

To start, a setup need to be created - newly from scratch - or as best-practice - an existing one should be copied and modified. Setups can also be imported from other projects / project-files.

This document describes the inital step of defining a robot task, here creating a setup, in which the the task to be automated can be defined and the process resuls simulated.

The following options exist:

- creating a (new!) setup
- duplicating an existing setup
- importing an existing setup that can be modified later
